I'm going to post about the story 'Adeline Ng Ai Choo' after reading it.

Adeline was a juvenile girl with high expectations for herself. She was 14 when she jumped off a building from 12 storeys high. This was because she had implored for one more mark for her English test and was rejected. She was bereaved as her parents set high expectations for her and if she had insatiable results, she would have an influx of punishments. Therefore, to aviod all these punishments and to be deviod of stress, she had inconceivably commited suicide.

The teacher of this girl said that Adeline had came to her to ask for a few marks so that she could pass her english test. However, there were no reasons why she should be awarded the marks and she was rejected squarely. Moreover, the teacher said that this was not a remedic for such problems. If such problems arise in the future, and everyone is able to pass if they were only a few marks before the passing grades, a test would indubitably become a farce. The teacher was rueful for her actions.

There were also an argument about this thing whether should marks be reveal between the teacher and Mrs Ramalingan. The conclusion of this argument was that the tragedy had nothing going to do with whether should marks be reveal. It is because that Adeline had changed into a different person since she had turned into secondary 3. This was the veritable reason why she had dropped in her studies.

A diary of Adeline had stated that she was very streesed out with all the expectations from her parents and herself. And that she had forced herself that no matter what she has to get a passing grade, if not she will be admonished by her parents and her father would be mortified. This must have made her emotions very shaky and probably the cause for her to commit suicide.
