Tips for writing better composition.
Friday, February 19, 2010

1st : I think that we should do a first draft before writing a compo that is to be handed up to the teacher. But, if you think that you will not have enough time, you can do at least a simple plot that will allow you to take as a guide while you are writing a compo. I feel that this is a very useful procedure before you start writing a compo because this will ensure that we do not write out of point. Also, we will not need to hesitate what to write about every now and then while writing the compo.

2nd : We should not be using words that we are not very sure of its meaning as wrong usage of it may cause your compo to be marked down severely. I am a victim of this error and I hope that you guys will not make this mistake.

3rd : We must always check grammar errors after we write our compo so as to prevent loss of marks. Double-checking is also very important as it could at the same time make you check your spelling and your phrasings.

4th : You must always be specific in your every sentence in the composition so that the marker would understand what you are actually trying to express. This will allow the marker to understand more about the storyline.

5th : We must always make sure that our composition has a constant logic. The aim of this is to make the compo look more real-life. Unlogical compo may be marked down too.

I hope that I could help you all with this.
